POSITION TITLE: Account Executive
DEPARTMENT: Sales
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify opportunities to put the advertising power of 96-7 The Wave to work for local businesses.
• Develop results based marketing strategies and promotional opportunities for clients.
• Reach quarterly and yearly billing goals set by station management.
• Effectively communicate goals and strategies with station management.
• Provide unparallelled customer service to your clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
• You need to have a minimum four year college degree.
• You need to have experienced success in sales.
• You must love to sell, be results oriented and maintain high standards set by sales department in all interactions with client.
• You need to have the ability to get others to think your way.
• You must possess a high degree of self confidence.
• You need to have excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal/organizational skills.
• You must possess a natural positive attitude when communicating with your customers and staff.
• Radio experience a plus.
